These 12 boxes of cereal cost me $2.32!! Here's what I did for each transaction:

• Buy 6 boxes at $1.50 each = $9
• Use (3) $1/2 coupons = $6
• Pay with the $5 Catalina from doing this deal on a couple days earlier = $1
• Pay $1 + $.16 tax
• Receive another $5 Post Catalina

Jewel Trip Today

Remember the Jewel Specials I blogged about a few days ago? Now these are the kinds of deals I really like! Here's what I bought today.

10 boxes of Kellogg's cereal = $25
4 Loaves Brownberry Bread = $8
2 Packages of Kraft Cheese Slices = $4
1 South Beach Dressing = $2.50

Coupons/Misc Savings:
10 $1 Kellogg's coupons (from past newspaper inserts--our Jewel takes expireds)
1 $0.55 Kraft Cheese coupon
$1.50 Avenu Savings on dressing
$10 Kellogg's Savings (buy 10, save $10)
TOTAL Coupons/Misc Savings: $22.05

To Pay....
I used:
$16 in Catalinas from Kraft deal
$2.02 OOP (out of pocket)

Catalinas Received:
$10 Kraft Deal
$14.07 (3 Free gallons of milk up to $4.69 each)

GRAND TOTAL COST: $3.95

Wal-Mart Trip

A quick trip to Wal-Mart today resulted in using lots of coupons and spending only $8.15! I was able to use coupons on everything except the produce and soda (no, I don't drink this stuff!) and was able to use overage on some of the coupons to apply to the other items. Before going to Wal-Mart, I visited this blog entry to find some coupon match-ups.
