OK, so I was holding out on the Dominick's cereal deal even though it's pretty cheap with the National Catalina deal on Post Cereal. Let's just say I'm glad I did because I like FREE cereal! Here's the deal. Starting Thursday at Jewel, Honey Bunches of Oats and Fruity Pebbles are on sale for $1.59 each. When you buy 5, you get $4 back. If you've registered your card here, you'll get $2 back when you buy 2 (you can get only one per transaction). Combine this with coupons, and you have one awesome deal! But even if you don't have coupons that's only $2 for 5 boxes of cereal!

Stock-Up Time at Jewel

There are quite a few catalina deals going on at Jewel right now. This time around, I went through the coupons I had and focused on figuring out a few transactions on matching items that I know we'll use. FYI, these worked perfectly at the Romeoville Jewel. For the Suave to produce the $2 CAT, be sure to register your Jewel card here (it takes about 36 hours to activate). I used the Suave as a moneymaker to reduce the OOP (out-of-pocket) on the following transactions. Even if you don't have coupons, these are definitely stock-up prices!!

Did you know you can get some **FREE** Wholly Guacamole at Jewel this week? It's on sale B1G1 and there's a B1G1 coupon here that will make it free. If you can't use it by expiration, throw it in the freezer and save it for an upcoming party.

Also, Gillette shaving cream is on sale for $1 and there's a $1 coupon in the 11/29 P&G.

Brief Update on Jewel Catalina Deal

All you Chicagoland shoppers, be sure to peruse your Jewel ad this week. There are some great deals.

Tonight I got:

Another Jewel Catalina deal for you to have fun with! The paper says buy $20, get $10; but it actually is buy $25 (before preferred card) and get $10. So use the Catalina from the last deal and you'll be on your way to some great deals. OK, there's another awesome catalina deal going on at Jewel right now! Here's how it goes:

• Buy $10 or more, get $2 catalina
• Buy $15 or more, get $5 catalina
• Buy $25 or more, get $10 catalina

This works the best when you buy $25 and get $10 back. There are quite a few products included, but here are some of the best scenarios I've found so far. I've done it a number of times, and, as in the past, it is working on sale prices (before preferred card). Believe me, even if you don't have coupons, this is worth your while.
